Spanner wrench in 500 HO tool kit???

Default Spanner wrench in 500 HO tool kit???

Just wondering how many of uour members who have Sporty 500s got a spanner wrench in their tool kit from the factory? If not does anyone know of a place to get one? My dealer does not stock them as he said you can use channel locks!!!! I have seen some shocks that channel locks were used to adjust and it weren!t a purty pic!! Thanks in advance.

Pete, the one from my Xplorer works on my 500.

Thanks guys for the info. I was at the dealers yesterday and they had no spanner wrenchs--out of stock for awhile ( or at least til they sell a few more quads that SHOULD have had them in the kits to start with!) I will order 1 from Kirks-thanks again. Rammer- did you get one in your 500 kit-guess not or you would be using it and not the one from the Explorer. Pete

Hey Pete, Don't bother with a spanner wrench. The FOX reservoir won't let you use the tool. It's in the way to swing the wrench. Don't know why they give you one in the tool kit. Save your money and use a channel lock or I just grab the spring with two hands and spin it by hand. If you still want to waste your money on a OEM spanner wrench, go to http://www.partsland.com/.
