Has anyone tried or know anyone that has tried any of the power kits that Aaen offers for the Scrambler 500? I'm looking for more power on my Scrambler and am looking into everything before I buy. I've been looking for a year and then hesitate when thinking of when I sell the Scram. These kits intrigue me tho.

Anyways, the kits go like this:

Stage III: Muffler (no header pipe), high duration cam, 42mm flatside carb, and trail clutch kit PRICE $778

Stage IV: Muffler (no header pipe), high duration cam, 42mm flatside carb, aggressive clutch kit, and high compression piston(changes from stock 10.2:1 to 11:1). PRICE $989

Stage V : Same as stage IV plus head porting. PRICE $1178

What do you guys think?

 

All those mods will dramaticly increase hp, but how much faster do you want to go? You can save some money and go with a Hotseat speed kit or a HPD kit. I would think that with the AAEN kit you should easily keep up with a 700 if not beat it.
