Default 2003 Trail Boss VS. 2003 Recon

ATV Magazine May 2002 put the recon against the 325 trail boss. 0-40 mph the recon was much faster. Has anyone lined up the 330 version of the trailboss against a Recon?
What were the results?
Which do you think would be a better trail quad?

Thanks.

Default 2003 Trail Boss VS. 2003 Recon

I have both and raced them and the trailboss was faster. The trailboss is more comfortable and much bigger quad, the recon is lighter and more nimble and much smaller. Reliabilty goes to the recon. Two years and not 1 single repair! It has a plow on it also and I do the drivewway with it. The trailboss has had starter go, Rear hubs, rear axle, front struts. The trailboss was ridden much harder than the recon. If you are a bigger guy I'd recomend the trailboss over a recon. For trailriding the trailboss would be fine but my brother bought it and thought it was a race quad and beat the living snot out of it.

The 330 Trailboss is very reliable but not much faster than the 325. The 325,s have alot of mods that you can do to make them very quick unlike the recon. The suspension on the Trailboss is better also. Much more clearance and travel. The recon is a good trail quad but I would go for the TB. And like RaptorRider said it is much more comfortable and better for bigger riders. If you want something a little quicker and more trail ready go with the 2003 Trailblazer. They have alot of upgrades that make it more reliable, maintenance friendly and TONS of mods so you wont get bored easily.
