300 miles and I already see a big tread wear and my running is in words or dirt. Surt they ride nice but there not going to last so what would be a good replacement something that lasts, but still soaks bumps..............

I hope you wear a helmet when you ride down the middle of the road with your tires overinflated by 300% to 500%. I hope your kidding, if not you are going to crash eventually.
I run the CORRECT pressure in mine, I pound them unmercifully in rocks and mud, I've done burnouts on pavement and I have better than three quarters of the original tread left, just turned 700 miles. I think the Rawhides are anything but soft. If that is your complaint, I wouldn't even know where to point you for a replacement.

Just a suggestion but you may want to look at the Dirt Devils. Had them on P650 to replace the Duncraps. They made a world of difference, I could go where the sp700 could once I swapped rubbers.
They are not a light tire by any means, but well built, with a good tread pattern for trail riding. Check them out for yourself.
