Guys, before you flame me, i know im behind enemy lines....yes that means i am a honda owner. I am getting my 400EX this weekend, and am just curious if i am gonna beat my buddies scrambler 500, i posted in the honda forum, and didnt get an answer, so im coming to you guys.......lets keep the bias answers and remarks on the minimum.....that was a joke.....

If it's a stock 500 you'll wax him.

 

If its the 500 4x4 you should be able to beat him, but it won't be by a huge margin.

 

If its a 4x4 dont beat him too bad or he may not pull you out when you get stuck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]By the way I ride with a few 400EXs and they do good.

 

My friend bought a used and thought to be stock 400EX last year. It blows by my Scrambler and reaches a top speed of 78mph. Another friend that bought his 400EX new will run dead even with my Scrambler at 63mph. I have a '99 500 4x4 and the EXs are '00s. It is a real close race no matter what, but there is really no reason to compare a 4x4 to a 2x4 sport quad.

 

I am a diehard Polaris owner but I have to say that the 400 ex will kill the 500. I have seen it many times.
