Default anyone? solve hpd rollers from shattering

my second set of rollers in three months shattered. Has anyone solved this problem to keep their rollers from shattering? Mine is 500 scrambler which you know can't be heavily modded and it keeps shattering the rollers.

I would call Mike at HPD 3-5 central time on Monday and talk with him. My race mod has the roller clutch and it just gets dogged all the time. I only replaced them once and did that just as maintenence. They looked good. What's your address? I'll send you my old ones if you would like. They are too expensive to keep buying, and I kept them just in case. Let me know,Bubba

The material they are made of is big time expensive ( Darrell once confessed) He said in their initial testing he had to do quite a bit of "grenading" to find the right material. I blew one up after about a year of some really hard riding and racing.....an acceptable service life. Gonna try that TPI roller, and hopefully that new Comet primary. Anyone toyed with them yet?
