Default sportsman went thru the ice

question for you sportsman owners out there last friday i put my new 500 thru the ice in over 30
feet of water it took two hours to winch it out with the girl freinds kodiak. I took it home changed
the oil three times , drained the fuel system , and changed the gear lube front and rear twice it
runs fine but im wondering did i miss anything ? I took it to the dealer on monday so they could
give it a once over. If any one knows of anything i should check it would me appreciated.
thanks

How in the heck did you get the sportsman out of 30 feet of water? Sounds like it would be a difficult job.

You probably only needed to change the oil once.
Beyond what you've done, you're ok.

yeah next time don't forget the water wings hahahhah just kiddin. Sounds like you covered everything. We had a few of those when I worked the Lake George Winter Carnival in Upstate NY You might want to check the air filter make sure that is all dried out and re oiled. Most atvs will float upside down in deep water the tires being so big. Found out the hard way when we put an old honda 4x4 through.

Yeah we had to pull a Suzuki king quad with a 4 ft plow on the front out of 10 feet of water. That took some doin and of course various sled with the help of a grappling hook.
