Default Speedo Pics Please Help

I am buying a new Scrambler 500, I want to put a Speedo on it. I have looked at the Trail Tech and like it alot. However I know Polaris makes one as well for the scramber that tells the hours and total miles/trip ect. However I have not seen a physical image of what it looks like, can someone please send me a pic of what the Polaris speedo looks like for the Scrambler 2002/2003. I do like the trail tech but would love to find one that ran on the electrical system instead of a watch battery.

Thanks

There is a speedo on e-bay right now. I personally use a Trailtech which also has hours, total miles, trip, maintenance reminders, etc. and it is alot cheaper than the Polaris speedo. but that is a personal decision so... Oh yeh, the battery will last 3 years. I hope that was what you were looking for there on ebay.

It is kind of like that indigo blue like the watches. It does cut off by itself after a few seconds, It is pretty bright though but not much for night riding. That is the only drawback I have found for It.

My goal is to find one like the trail tech but with a constant on backlight and one that tes into the electrical, cant figure out why trail tech doesnt make that as an option.

Well, I can't help you there I don't think I have seen any except for maybe the Polaris one, but I have never actually seen one of those on a scrambler so I can't say for sure. No the Trailtech doesn't have a tach on It I wish It did because I am looking to buy a tach right now. Anyway for 70 bucks It is good as a speedo.

Well Scotts88 is looking for a tach and yes you can put a car tach (sunpro) and probably others on a bike. Do a search for tachs on this group and you will find instructions for doing so (Scotts88). Good luck with that speedo Lightman02.
