ET DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SAND AND DIRT

Which one would post faster times drag racing in dirt or sand? I know it may depend on if you can hook up or not but does anyone have a guestimate on which one is faster and is it a big difference?

I have heard that with traction being about the same that dirt will run around .2 seconds faster. Maybe someone who has run both with the same setup can fill us in.Bubba
