I need to rebuild my tranny. I need to know exactly what book I need that show how to put it back together and where to get it.

Also I read somewhere the I had to take the primary clutch off to do this. Should I upgrade anything while I'm in there?

 

I have both a factory and a Clymer manual the factory goes into better detail but the Clymer has better pictures.It is a rathe simple job harder to get the tranny out and back in than to rebuild it.While it is out I would check the bushings and buttons in the primary and change the buttons in the secondary.If you like the way it pulls and run leave the stock springs in the clutches but if you want more out of it get you a clutch kit.
