Can a person make a Banshee killer out of a 400 Scambler or is it a wast of time??? Any tips and or advice would be a big help. My brother has a Banshee and I am sick of it so I went and bought a scrambler and I am going to build build build. Thanks

An HPD race mod will get you very close. Talk to modquad or bubba297 the bpth have highly moded 400's. They can tell you if it is worth it or not. I know it can be done. I have seen the 400's smoke banshees. The HPD race mod will bring you up to around 80 hp.This can beat just about any stock bike out there.

You guys that dont have the highly modded 400's dont know what your talking about. I dont mean anything bad by that, it's just that alot of people down talk them and they have never rode one. Buy a race pipe, 39pwk carb, shave your original head and add the girdle kit, and send me the cylinder. I can tell you that you only HAVE TO change the primary and secondary spring for the race mod stuff. You will spend a little bit of money, but they are really reliable. My race modded wheeler would outrun a banshee with reeds and pipes no problem. It would run neck and neck with a ported one and pipes. My race bike on alky, now, will dust most of them and only gets outrun by the extremely fast ones. Power wise you can get alot of power off the crank. If you built the new race mod powervalve kit from HPD, you get almost 90hp at the crank. You pay the price for that setup, though, about $2400.00. You could have less than $1000 and have a screaming machine that will go and do anything. If your interested in further details please PM me.Bubba
