'99 Scrambler 500, I purchased it with a Supertrapp pipe and muffler already in it brand new from the dealer. AT that time it was clocked(driving along side my brothers comaro on a county rd) at 67 or 68 mph. I added the k&n power up kit this past January and it maybe added 5 mph. Well, i don't have a speedometer, but with the people i run with i'm pretty sure i can get my 85 Trail Boss Re/s to about 50-55 mph..pretty fast for an antique

 

mi polaris hits about 60 stock judging by staying side to side with my friend and his dirtbike wich has a speedometer.he said we hit 60 and it seemed like it.

My y2k polaris xpedition 425 cc 5 speed has gone 57 mph. so far. we are still breaking in our machines though and they may go faster down the road.....

I have a Garmin GPS-3 and I have clocked my stock 98 250 trail Boss at 54 mph on a flat dirt RD. And 57 on a flat paved RD. No B.S. Not bad for a bike that costs so little.

 

my bud has a '00 SPORTSMAN 500 and he said he got it up to 56 no problem, and so far 59 tops. To me that is as fast as you would want on a big bore quad and polaris builds them strong.

 

MY 96 SP500 DOES 60 ,WHEN I HAD MY 425 MAG THAT DID 45 50.

 

My 2000 sprortsman with EBS will do 55 with almost 500 lbs on it that is me and my brother on it now top that hehehe.
