I am on par with Dirt Wheels bashing. Polaris has gotten a bad rap from them forever and now that Kawi has a sport auto it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wrote to DirtWheels "letters" column responding to another person letter. They totally reworded and reworked my whole letter. Leaving out points and words to meet their agenda. I was blown away they would do such a thing. My letter was proffesionaly written with nothing mean to say, just comments. I understand they have an editor but they completely changed my points. If they changed my letter then they change most if not all. I have lost all respect for them and can't believe what is written in that mag, whether it's something the authors write or a persons letter to them because they will change it to fit their agenda. The issue was October 2002 page 39 letter"Polaris Brakes". I still have the original letter if anyone is interested.
The letter I wrote a response was in the July 02 issue and I believe it was also called Polaris Brakes.

Bertman, you've got PM. Thanks for the info. Bubba, how's that for some smokin' gun truth. Information is power....along with nitrous, alky, jet fuel....etc.

Ooooohhhhh, after a couple of months I have witnessed a few of these "sport quads" first hand. Sorry, but absolutely nothing to be proud of. My wife's trail mod Scrammy with still the stock carb will outrun one and is still absolutely rideable and has less than $5300 total in it. To each his own but I still dont see anything but the GNCC class racing only here.
