I never used to ride as much as i do now, but i find now that i got my pred, when i go on all day say, 9-5 trips, big bike runs with alot of bikes i get a headache. WHY? I have no idea, im eating fine, its not too cold on my face, have a mask and goggles, my helmet isnt too tight, fits snug and comfortable. I thought about that i dont wear my glasses while riding..however i dont wear them at work all day either, and i never get the headaches then.

Could it be the fresh air or somthing? maybe all the exhaust smoke? Am i all alone on this thing?? Any ideas?

I get headaches too. It's weird though. I always thought it was from all the exhaust fumes. Its not a really bad headache or anything, it's just annoying. I like to think of it as a good pain.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

It has to do with riding hard and adrenaline I guess. When we trail ride in the mountains I dont get one, but when we ride hard at the dunes or when I'm on the race bike I have to make sure and carry the excederin. That's about everytime.

 

Maybe it's the enging/exhaust noise? Try ear plugs for one ride that should be enough to determine if that's the cause.

 

I get headaches later in the day if riding fast and aggressive all the time, quads or snowmobiles. Slower more leisurely riding it doesn't happen. I sometimes take some asprin after lunch to ward it off before it happens.

 

2 stroke exhaust gives me headaches!

 

I would think aggressive riding would drastically increase the amount of strain on your neck and head from the helmet bouncing around like a bobble head doll , in addition to the eyestrain from concentrating on the terrain so hard.

I know what I would do is if your aspirin tolerant take two before you go riding but not on an empty stomach. One a day is good for your health. I have been taking one(325 mg tablet) a day since 1981.
