Has anyone on here compared the two of these slipons. Just wondering which seems to give better response and sound. Hmf is claiming some very nice HP and Torque gains on their site.

 

I think Heapster posted somewhere that the HMF unit is REALLY loud. Even if you ride where noise isn't a factor, what happens when you take a roadtrip to where it is.

 

They claim the noise level is 98dbl without insert and 91 with. That is not bad considering the raptor aftermarket pipes are up over 100 for just about all of them.

 

I put the HMF on my Pred and it is loud, but not as loud as my buddie's Blaze. It made a small difference in the bottom
end but not much until I installed Gary's Airforce kit from Superbikeshop. Now this thing rips, I will not hesitate to take on anything- I know it is designed to keep the front end down but the front end is going to the sky even in third!!!
He made some pretty steep claims, but I'll tell you he met and exceeded eveyone of them. My popping is gone, it pulls extremely hard through the entire rpm range in every gear and has better throttle response. His jets don't have a size on them but compared to my 157 it looks easily to be 170 to 180!!! IF YOU GET A SLIP ON DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET HIS KIT TOO, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, IT IS ONLY $100.
