Default Sportsman 600 & 700 Oil Change

I changed the oil in my SP600 two weeks ago and the oil had a gas smell to it. Checking the oil today, I noticed it's starting to smell like gas again. I'm wondering if the carburetor is over fueling or is it the cold weather having to use the choke longer until the machine warms up. I let the engine warm up idling before I put it to work plowing snow. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this?

If the bike is often hard to start, you can get a little gas pass by the rings and into the crankcase. Happened with my buddies car, it wouldn't start, and the continous cranking (over a couple days fooling with the car) dumped 2.5l of gas into the oil. Unless your oil is thinning out alot, I wouldn't worry about it.
