I have the got the chance to buy a liberty engine out of a 700 pro X. I am just wondering what kind of job it would be to stuff this into a quad frame? I rode the sled before it was wrecked and it was awesome then, I can't imagine what it would be like in a quad frame. Thanks Later

those are new generation of high output twin from polaris for sleds,if you can run that engine in your scrambler you won't have a faster polaris quad out there...

It would take some creativity, but could be done. The flywheel cover will stick out on the right side a little far, but it would have to be that way to get the clutches to line up...but yeah, I think it could be done, customize some dual exhaust and wax some banshees!!!

There was a guy on this forum awhile back who had an 800 Polaris sled motor in his quad. I think he mentioned not being able to keep the front wheels on the ground!

Several years back in one of my friend's 4-wheeler magazines there was a little article about two guys who took a triple-cylinder 1500cc two stroke polaris snowmobile engine and put it in their polaris quad. The 4-wheeler hit 90mph in 100 yard drag in the sand!
