Default predator in 1st year matter?

I am looking into buying a new quad and the predator is in the hunt for the winning bid, does it really matter that this is the first year or not? If so what would you buy?

I did all my book work and pondered hard myself. I finally put the money on the pred just because of all the money saving features that come on it stock!! Heavy grade rims, razr tires, heavy duty axle, stainless steel brake lines, then engine rips with power, and it handles extremely well. Plus if you want to add any mods, all of polaris' accessories mount up perfect. They may cost a little more than aftermarket items, but its worth the $$ with the time you save...like the nerf bars for example. Just my .02!

Polaris did there home work on the Predator for 3 years.

Do you have any idea how hard it was for me a Honda guy to buy a Polaris?

I love my Predator though

It's your first post and your talkin $hit about ds's already. All I have to say if you keep it up your going to get an education from other ds people. Oh yes and if anyone with a Predator is in the northern Wisconsin area, bring it on!! Not talkin' smack just havin a little fun. I actually like the Predators, and I think my Dad is going to buy one. So don't start a pissing match. Oh yeah, there is no replacement for displacement. Think about that for a while. He he.

I'm not sure where Pearson is, but I'm in Manitowoc Wisconsin, and would love to get together and run against the DS. I almost bought a DS 650 Baja from the same dealer that I got my Predator from, but decided to wait until I could climb onboard a Predator. Right then and there I was sold, just felt better under me, and handled a lot better. I haven't had any problems with mine, so I'm definately glad I bought it. My friends 01 Raptor doesn't stand a chance, so it would be fun to run a DS. Take care!

i have saw enough of these threads to now finally say that "yes" polaris did in fact study way more than the comp. and to think that this is their first real full on sport bike! let the competition begin, with this kind of brain power in minn., im sure without a doubt that polaris will stay well on top!
