trail blazer 250, warrior, or 300ex
#23
In my experience, the 300EX and the TB turn much tighter as far as tight trails. When I rode with my buddy on his Warrior, he was constantly having to back up and turn a couple times to follow me into the places where I would go. This was with me both on my dad's 300EX and when I was on my TB.

well.....personally i would go with the 300ex for tight trail riding, lighter, quicker, better handleing. i have owned a warrior and also had many problems with it. i traded it to a friend and he had nothin but problems. he ended up rebuilding the whole front end. within a couple months he got rid of it. im in the same position u are i think. there is a warrior and a 300ex i am looking at and i currently own a 2002 trailblazer. im happy with the trailblazer but it has horrible throttle response and take off. the torque and power arent muc hto brag about either. i was goin to go with the warrior till i read this forum. i love jumping and doin wheelies and i heard from my cousin who has a 300ex that they are wheelie machines. thro all my experiences with these three atv's i think i would go with the 300ex. right now i am trying to sell my 2002 tb for 2800. perfect condition with front brush guard, skid plate, and tank bags if anyone is interested. never been wrecked and completely stock. i want to sell it to get a 300ex as soon as possible. well i hope i was a help

by the way scramxman yr buddy must have sucked cause the warrior turns much better than the tb...trust me out of first hand experience....all the polaris's have a bad turning radius if u ask me....except for the predator of course

No not ALL polaris's have bad turning radius. I can easily hit the throttle and kick the back end around a tree. You have to manhandle the 300 ex/warrior around while you just cruise and hit the throttle and take the bumps with the TB. I used to have a Banshee. Got thrown around way too much and shifting in the woods was a pain after about 3 hrs of riding so I bought something that could easily be moded and handle way better. No it is not a speed demon like the banshee but I will easily beat a 300 and a warrior in just about any situation except jumping.

Hey,
i've riden my Warrior a few times now. i'll agree, the turning radius on the Warrior isn't very good, but that really doesn't matter much once you get the hang of throwing the back end around. also, the Warrior has absolutely no problem do wheelies. it's got good power too, certainly not slow off the line either. and definitely faster than the 300ex. and the last time i went riding we went throught a whoops section, and i was impressed by the suspension on my Warrior, you just have to get the shocks adjusted like you need them. and while there are always lemons, generally any quad that's been around as long as the Warrior/300ex have, most of the problems have been worked out. so for the most part, i'd say the Warrior/300ex should be problem free. i don't know anything about the TB, so i can't comment on that.
basically it comes down to which one you feel the most comfortable on. i like my Warrior.
