Default Oil level keeps increasing... why?

The oil level on my '03 Sportsman 400 is increasing. I read in the manual somewhere it was due to riding in cold condtions.

I have done most of my recent riding in cold weather and snow. The manual says to replace the oil at the first sight of increase because there is water in the oil. My question: do all you guys up north experience this? Do you change your oil more frequently as a result?

Condensation on the inside of the tank, heat machine up, change oil, filter and clean lines and screen. Change as many times as neccessary, There is definately water building up at the bottom of the tank, and that needs to be fixed. Radiator leak sounds right too tho.

Check for a gas smell in the oil. Your float level may be too high or the needle is leaking by.

It could be several things wrong w it.Did u forget to turn off the fuel tap,if not an your floats, needle s stcking are too high it could dump gas into the bottom end.also if u rode thru snow water, condensation could cause that.Last but not least a wate pump seal can go but from what You stated it doesnt sound like tht.Either way drain the oil ,new filters etc an inspect it n the pan smell it for gas or look for milky white stuff whcih is water/coolant.Good luck bud an hope this helps!.
