The left side spark plug can be reached from the right side of the atv using the spark plug wrench in your tool kit. There was a small hose that runs to the front of the airbox that i had to remove to make things easier. If you change plugs use NGK BKR7E's, the stock Champions are pieces of crap.

I'll have to try that next time . i got it out from the left side using a long braker bar and regular sparkplug socket . it worked ok but still cramped.

What kind of problems are people having with the chapions after brake in ? brake in thrashes all plugs due to the treatment of all the internal engine parts with anti-corrosion chemicals from the factory.

thanks for the info

Ive only got around 14 hrs on my 600 right now. When i took the Champions out they were black from threads to the tip. I've heard they just don't run as clean as the NGK's do, also i noticed after changing them that it doesn't take as long to warm up as before. I've just heard from several forums and other people that the NGK's are better and i agree.

Some one said use th NGK plug BKR7E my dealer told me to use NGK BKR5E to replace the old plugs. I have a 2003 600 Polaris which plug is the right one.
