Default Gary @ Super Bike Shop

Got back last night from a 17 hour 836 mile round trip to Superbike Shop in Evansville, Indiana. All I can say is ---first class, first class, first class. When I walked in Gary introduced himself( not at all what I thought) he's probably in his late 20's early 30's. He treated me like I bought 2 new Predators- not an air force kit.
He had my Predator running great in 10 minutes. Then he took the time to show me the shop. They were making Air Force Kits while I watched. Then he showed me his big bore 580 kits, and they were polishing heads. If any of you are thinking about purchasing one, I personally would highly recomend them. There aren't alot of top notch people out there but Gary and the Super Bike Shop guys are!!!! Great experience --well worth the trip.

What was your reason for going there? where you having some probs with your pred? Or just wanted him to tune it up with the A/F kit?

836 miles to get a carb adjusted??? Sounds desperate?? Ever heard of Fed-Ex?? J/K I personally am not impressed with Gary's operation, sounds like you have to show up in person to actually talk to him? Oh well though, I know my business will be appreciated somewhere else when I buy my big-bore kit and other goodies.

Predatorman why do you say that? Do you have a specific complaint? I have had nothing but great service from gary at superbikes. I didnt even buy my quad there and he has helped me as far as set-up and advise on several occasions. He even spent extra time with me over the phone giving me racing tips. Far as I know, superbikes predators are a notch above the rest - Gary does alot of extra setup thats unheard of at typical dealers. I just wish I lived a little closer - I would have bought mine there but it costs close to 400 bucks to ship it here. By the way, Gary is currently working on a new CDI design that will really bring the predator to life!

I know several guys that have purchased new bikes and quads from him. A large # of them say they will never step foot into his shop again. It's funny how out of town people like the guy but a lot of local guys don't. I use to buy some parts and stuff from Gary but some of his parts guys / salesmen are such smart a$$es, I take my bussiness elsewhere now. But hey, if he treats you well that's good. Just wanted to say how some of us locals feel.

I've never met, nor have talked to the man personelly, but I've heard way to many positive things, from so many people, that my hats off to this guy that provides both an excellent product and outstanding service, heaven's know's that's not ussually the norm and it puts alot of trust in the consumer, later, Putt

Any possibility that he may have "purged" the bad seeds from his business. Haven't dealt with them, but things do change. In any business there is no replacement for professional, personal service. Not picking sides, just know that things can change, and there can be good, and bad chemistry between people.

He spent a good hour on the phone with me, and even with no parts or business transactions either........I was just picking his brain, and he loved hearing my input and experiences too to gain his own insite.

I give the guy 2 thumbs up, for being out there in the fore-front and sticking his neck out first. Gotta give him kudo's for that.

Keep all the knocks and gripes in perspective, we all have bad days.
