guys guys, there is no "one shop" or "magic bullet" that anyone can provide. Its only a four stroke, come on.......
Many shops have good and bad raps, Trinity, Mickey One-lap at 4 stroke tech, I could name others, but there are many many good shops out there, but sometimes they all have bad days. It's only a machine, and when you build it up past OEM and stock specs, things are stressed and yes they'll break sooner.
Let me tell you about my broke rod punching out two holes in my engine case sometime....
Kudos to Gary, and CT racing, and Sparks, and Powroll, and all others who push the limit!!!
Heck, its only money!

Yes I can be a bone head sometimes. Thanks about the team, I have been keeping up with work for the first time in many years because I have a team manager this year that takes care of the team and I stay at home working on motors.

Huh, Wuh, (somebody waking up and rubbing the sleep out of their eyes......)
What was this year old thread about anyways?
I tell you this, I salute anyone willing to push the limits and try new things. (as long as there are facts and data to back up their work.)
People like Mickey who has done some awesome work grafting a Kodiak cylinder sleeve onto a Warrior for up to a 500 cc (I I think?). And other custom works as such.
And then there is MP racing in Oregon, who put a Polaris Cylinder onto a Honda 250R lower end, for what they call a Polonda 400 I believe......400cc 2 stroke.....THATS gotta rip!
ATVs engines like these are always radical and a great departure from "how many stickers does it take for 10 mph more top end"........but reliability and lifespan does tend to go down as performance is pushed past manufacturers spec's and limits.
Happy Trails.

Now then, what was this year and a half old post about again?
