Some Predator Questions???
Hi guys,
I was looking at a Z400 or a Predator for my wife, could you guys help me with some info on the Polaris? Is it holding up well, current prices etc...etc. I tried talking her into a utility quad like my 660, not happening! She wants something sporty, she had RM's as a kid and just thinks the utilities are to heavy for her.
Thanks,
Tony & Sharon

Some Predator Questions???
Tony G,
Just got a great write up from Heapster on these forums. You might want to pm him if you don't get any response on this thread. He says his wife LOVES the Predator. Am in the process of decision making for my next quad as well, and the Predator is looking real good. If your wife is like me, she will probably want to go look at and sit on whatever it is she is contemplating getting. If they don't feel right (maybe from a girlie point of view), they just aren't going to cut it, IMO.
I don't currently race, but the suspension and handling of a Predator appears to be outstanding, from all I have heard on this forum and any reasearch I have done. Standard model appears to be going for around $6,000. You could have at least a grand in new shocks alone if you went with anything that didn't already have a full 10" of travel! It's a 42 mm carb, Mikuni I believe, 4-valve, overhead cam, and I think dual headpipes coming down into one tail pipe. The shocks are Fox shocks. Go to Predator for more specs and technical data. They look pretty sweet to me.
