Has anybody changed a Polaris 700 front axleshaft? I have been unable to get the inboard yoke out of the differential. I have a new one, and it just has a cir-clip on it, so it doesn't look like the diff has to come apart. I was told to pry them out, I tried it repeatedly and had no success. I called a dealer and a service tech said not to pry, but to give them a sharp yank and they'll pop right out. After a few dozen yanks nothing popped out. It looks really simple but I'm stumped. Does anyone here know of a special tool that will make this easier? Or a secret trick? It was suggested that I try a slide hammer, but that seems a little extrteme. That will probably be my next step. Since it's all apart on jackstands I can't even move it to load it up and take it to the dealer so I can pay huge money for something that should be simple.
