What is the most disk I can run, and yet not be much louder then stock. I want to get the most out of the Predator, without pissing off the neighbors. I want to do this, because my brother and I are planning on entering the GNCC race in PA. on May 10. I'm thinking of entering the 26+ Novice class. At 36 I could even be in the Vet class, but I want to see if I can handle my own with the yonger crowd. I'm still young at heart.

 

GE, I'm running all the discs and quiet core that came with the silencer. I did however order an additional pack of discs this last week. DB's with that setup were 94 at idle (don't have a tach yet, so didn't want to error on 50% readings) and 102 Db w/o quiet core. I'll post how many DB's the additional discs add. I'm gonna go two at a time.

As far as GNCC, run it and have fun. I ran some local harescrambles a few years back and had a blast. Just make sure to keep an ear behind you, to get out of the pro's way.

 

Any data on that yet Ken? Was thinking of ordering more myself and am curious.

Sorry man, I got too sidetracked making scoops. I'll get them on tonight and take some readings in the morning....gotta keep da neighbors happy. You should've seen their faces the first time the Predator went for a lap around the yard. hehe
