Default Help with Pricing

Can someone please help me with the value of a Sportsman 500 HO. It is a 2001 with 1100 miles on it. Not a single problem and only 1 scratch behind the tank saddle bags. It is green in color with black extension rack in rear. I have also added both front and rear bumpers. The tires are in great shape and have never been punctured. I was told from the dealer that he could give me 4500 on trade, but I think I can get more selling it out right. What price do you think I can get for it?

Default Help with Pricing

I did that already and it said that retail should be about 5300. I wasn't sure because when I went to N.A.D.A. it said that the bike was worth 5600. I just want to be fair in pricing out this bike. Do you know anyone that would want to buy it? I have to sell it fast. I am going to get rid of it and get a new 600. I bought one two weeks ago and liked it so much I am considering buying another one.

ibdboss, I bought a 2004 500 sp 2 days ago, but before I bought it I was looking everywhere for new and used. I found a couple sp 500's that sound close to the condition of your machine and they where going from $4900 to $5300. I personally feel you can get more if you sell it, but if your in a hurry at least you can trade it in. 2004 sp 500 4x4

That is kind of what I was thinking. If I can hold out a little while I will sell it by myself, but my dealer only has 2 600's left in green (2003) so I have to hurry. He will sell me the 600's for 6712.00 out the door. That includes tax, license, and a first service at 10 hrs. which includes changing the oil, greasing, and adjusting the valves, and tightening everything. Not to bad!
