Polaris Strut Break

My girlfriend was riding her 00 Trailboss this weekend and happened to break the strut where the tie-rod is attached. Has this happened to anyone else and at what cost am I looking at to get it repaired?

You would figure that with the abuse some of these machines take that Polaris would use something stronger than aluminum.

Someone posted a fix or replacement solution a while back. Do a search and see if you can find he thread. Hope that helps.

I broke my strut at the same place and had it aluminum welded . the person who welded it said it would be just as strong as it was before it broke. you can't even tell it was welded. if you don't repair it i'll buy the broken on off you.
