I have the team secondary with EBS. Purchased it from HPD. I also have the new comet primary.
The team secondary is does great, but combine it with the comet primary and it is unreal

 

I just ordered the comet primary this week. I can't wait to try it out!

 

you'll love that black star wars new comet clutch,it actually shift in the lights speed area,snap and fly out!
use a good belt tough,and it didn't take as much spring pressure than the stock polaris clutch,so watch out.

Scramblered: Did you see improvement in both acceleration and top end speed?

 

So does anyone have just the Team secondary with the stock drive clutch? If so what primary spring and weights is HPD using.?

 

accelerations?? it is QUICKER,no doubts,if you nail the throtle hard,the sprockets wil have an unequaled amount of power to the rear wheels,i got a new and tougher chain by now if you wanna known how hard it spin.top speed is better and faster cauze,the response is so more efficient when you let the throttle,you just re-snap and shift out (top speed) come back real fast.

 

Does the secondary come complete from hpd?

 

Yes it is a complete setup. They even have custom helix angles designed for your power curve. I have the HPD trail mod (well kinda) and they sent the setup for that application. I believe 48-40 helix with a black/red spring with 10-56 weights with a HPD Red/yellow primary. I've been trying it out for a few days and I must say it is impressive. Darrell at HPD said that it is worth 1 1/2 to 2 lenghts in a 300 ft race. Not bad.

 

i put cmet primary on my xplorer and it works good easy low range wheelies shifts out fast and i am still using stock secondary can"t wait to get the team , it is alittle noisy when idling but a small sacrifice for the gains
