Pretty fancy buzz words he's got you believing. How many hours total testing does the highest time motor have on it. Used to love watching the Buick V-6 bracket racers, those things could really belt out the HP. They developed a reputation, as well as a nickname, grenades. Kinda one reason that not many people ran them, you were always building motors. You might say everytime one went bang, there was a certain "pulse resonance" that reverberated through your chest, or was it the owners wallet, I forget.

Now if you want to talk Buick v6, your out of your league. I hold several national records that still stand today from my old drag racing days. I raced a turbo regal with a 700hp V6 that turned 30 psi of boost and turned 8500 rpm and never gave a minutes trouble for over 3 years. car still running today. just a different owner. Car built in chicago by ANS racing. Custom turbo by Harry @ Precision Turbo. So I wouldn't question the durability of the buick V6, actually there known as the toughest engines in the world. Indy cars used them several years.

Hmm, check out the latest ATV Sport issue ( June)when you get it. Something about Rath having TC racing build motors. Don't remember who posted that earlier, but straight from Daryl's mouth, that would probably mean it's true. SP, I stick with V-8's, you know me, I like durability. The Predator has a huge bore, gotta stroke that puppy, not bore it out. A couple of local speed shops (HPD, Hot Seat, you know your average Joe's) caught wind of this thread, got some e-mails, that's some sales pitch that's being used. If it seems like I'm being a bit more sarchastic than usual, it's because I hate rumors, and really don't care for those who spread them.

Don't remember anyone ever questioning where Rath get's his engine's from, or really care. I hope he does well. AS far as spreading Rumor's not sure what you are talking about. I don't know what sales pitch you are refering to. The Products are there for anyone to buy. Try them your self. What have you got to lose, your shop has nothing for sale. They are working well for us.

There are two local shops with current endurance testing taking place. Hmmm, what have I got to lose? Money comes to mind. As far as rumor sources, let's just put it this way, I wouldn't plan on seeing any factory trucks stopping by Superbike shop anytime soon. That's just a hunch of mine, by no means fact. The page is about to turn on Predator performance. How does that saying go, "hear me now, believe me later".

By the way, I build my own motors.

Modquad I am growing bored with this debate, you alway's refer to some secret in the future you claim to have knowledge of. As far as the factory Polaris deals go, me or you neither one knows what might be in the pipeline. Mabee you will get HPD to build your Predator one day, then we can race them, instead of talk about it, until them I will be out racing my Predator while you wait on the durability testing. (LMAO)... I guess I will see you at the track, but I doubt it, people like you talk racing, I on the other hand just race.

Started racing NHRA events when I was a junior in high school. HPD will be providing the parts, I'll be building the motor myself. You have a much greater tendency to learn the inner workings of a motor when you get your own hands into it. Then you can understand the time, and the concern, for making something last. I'm going to be making more than a few trips down to St Loius for some timed drags this year, and running a full harescramble series. More of that durability issue. I just hope you're not LYAO too much to fall off the stool while you watch someone wrench for you.

Not looking for the last word, just the most logic. I've dealt with those who talk this and talk that, but they always have to pay this and pay that. I prefer to build this, and race that, but not have to fix it all the time.....um, that would be me doing the fixing also.
