Default Predator w/b pipe (new owner)

I'm a new owner of the predator.(2days). I have a white bros. pipe (slip-on) on order.. I was told all I needed was to move the needle up/down so it gets more fuel.. with no re-jetting. I would like to know if this is true from other predator owners that put the w/b pipe on.. thats..

I'm at 200 ft. above sea level and with just putting slip-on on I didnt have to rejet and got a big improvement. I am running 5 discs no spark arrestor or quite core. When I did add K&N I did have to rejet. I have 160 main in her now and she is strollin....

Check into www.Esuperbikeshop.com for their Airforce kit for the airbox.

If your going to throw on the slip-on, it would be in your best interest to get a K&N and then rejet it. I'm still stock jets on mine, with the K&N and slip-on. It's running great, no popping or anything. I'm thinking of going to a 155 just to see if it makes a difference, but not sure yet. It was running great this winter, where the air is a little thinner, so I'll see if there will be a difference as it warms up.

Or you can grab a $6-8 pack of six Univents, and mount them on the rear of your airbox. Like ProX said, get the K&N, make sure to take out the stock foam pre-filter.

Ya but those uni-vents dont look as good as the A/F kit..........its all about the look plain old black plastic or anodized aluminum in the color of your choice.

The Airforce kit is designed the way it is for engineering reasons. Without giving away Gary's secrets, the size and location of the plates are critical for maximum performance. Just cutting holes and increasing the main jet will increase performance, but it will not match the Airforce kit. I basically had the same set up as everybody is describing (air vents and 155 main jet) before we added the Airforce kit. We dynoed it before and after, the kit made enough difference to more than justify the $99.00. You will not get more gains from any other mod for the money. Gaurenteed !!!!!!!!!!!!!
