Default new comet clutch!

i hope predator guys are dialed-in well cauze scrambler's are becoming faster with the new high performance comet primary clutch to fit on 2 stroke 400,a 25% increase in effiency result from the new clutch design,
run cooler, add on a new team roller secondary unit then and it will be a major increase in power/response of the clutch system, that pretty good news for our polaris, better clutch effiency=more power to the ground,
they plan on building some other primary for differents models too...

Hey Farmr, waiting on a test unit myself. The site is http://www.spinreel.com/comet.htm, I still have to read up on setting up links, but that'll get you to the info. They've been close to, or just beginning the initial production runs. I will be posting some drag (timed) results in the not to distant future.

i posted the link in the team secondary topic some hours ago,the same as modquad got just above,i didn't seen the clutch yet,but i suppose they're wwill be a lot less wear and friction into the clutch wich generate heat and lost of power...
i maybe still think it is a 4 tower clutch,we will see...
my dealer will have it for around 700$ (canadian cash).

Sorry about that Scramblered, just didn't know where it was. I have it listed in my faves column. Hopefully should be on the doorstep soon. I'll do my best this coming summer to do as much comparison testing on that coupled with the TEAM secondary. This will, like I've said before, be at timed sand drags, so I'll have slips, not just my opinions.

TB I'd be thinking those are an older design, Comet has been around for a long time making clutches. This is a new performance primary. They've just started production runs. If I get a chance I'll have to check that out.

I would put money that someone's scamming. As of a week ago, they hadn't made any yet. Just like whoever was selling parts manuals on there, when you could go to the Polaris site and download for free. Be careful.

Could be, I'm waiting till you give me the scoop on it when you get it. I've got to know what the jet man thinks about it before it goes on my quad.
