Default End-over-end down a 700 ft hill,

Wow! hope you're friend is OK! You don't see to many 4X4 in the crater itself. Did he have paddles? Got caught on a sidehill? A good friend rolled his Banshee 1/2 way down Million & it cost him plastic, handlebars & sixpack rack. And he was lucky!

Default End-over-end down a 700 ft hill,

It's good to know you are interested, 74TX. I'm going to get the wrecked machine today and then list what it needs to get it going again. The essential parts may be more than it's possibly worth, or it may be repairable, perhaps into some sort of "monster". I'll let you know what the diagnosis is, then see if you're interested. Thanks. Yes, we're not many miles apart, I'm in north Scottsdale.

Default End-over-end down a 700 ft hill,

I think it's rebuildable. Needs rear axle, rear plastic, battery, steering shaft, 2 wheels & tires, throttle control, new pod & speedo, rear rack and some bracing/welding on the frame. So far the parts list is $1,700. The labor cost is estimated to be 2 cases of brew. Considering the cost of new or good used ATVs I think it's worth rebuilding.

Anyone got used parts for a 96 Explorer 425?
