Default After Oil injection removal

When you get rid of the tank can you just relocate the CDI box to another spot.? And also when you get rid of the oil low sensor will this light come on or does it just not work after you remove it.? Just trying to finalize everything. Thanks Shawn.

The low oil light is a normally open circuit....need the switch contacts to light up. I've left the ignition alone. But I did relocate the battery up front and the starter solenoid. All the stock wires will reach. If you're gonna go that route, I'd remove the starter, mill the flywheel, and loose the battery in favor of W/B's battery eliminator kit.

The CDI box was mounted on top of the oil tank. I just moved it to another spot. All wires reached just fine. I do like the electric start but it does start first pull every time I've tried it. Thanks.

Be sure to tape up the connection where the low oil sensor was plugged into. If it gets wet, it can make the oil light flicker, which can be very aggravating.

Sorry Dune, they've changed that since I did mine. Along with what Farmr suggested, a product called liquid electrical tape (available at Menard's, Home Depot, etc) works good for sealing things up.

You can put the CDI Box anywhere, as long as you keep it dry.
Just unhook the oil light wires and tape them over
