Trailboss 330 Mods ?

The Trailboss does have a cushy ride compared to some other machines..You will be happy with the stage 1 kit, it increases power across the band.. After I completed this mod I raced my buddies still stock Boss and I beat him by 8 bike lengths. Now as far as the tires go, take a look at the Maxxis Sur Tracs. I put these on my Boss and they do an outstanding job in a conditions, especially mud...

How much difference is there in the loudness of the exhaust? Many public owned lands restrict noise level to 86 db. Does the E-series pipe include a spark arrestor? Thanks in advance for the info.

It is WAY louder. Probably 95 DB. But the punch is worth it. As for 8 bikelengths faster, not here. Rick Ritter gets about 8-9 bike lengths faster with his 414 kit plus the stage I. A pipe will not make that kind of difference. It is a good 15-18% more power though.

Lukester, yes they are the stock 22x11x10 the sur tracs do a great job.. The E- series is way load like Barely Legal said, but the extra power is well worth it. Go with the green primary spring, the red sounds like it is a bit too much for a trailboss. The 8 bike lengths was on a 300 yard drag, I don't know if my buddy was trying or what but those are the results..

I'll look into the green primary over the red. I bought this red spring from Rick at RCR. He did ask what kind of riding I do and I told him trails, but I like the hills too. He knows what he's talking about but I think from his end on the phone it's hard to know what a guy really needs/wants. He had no reserves about the red spring though. Thank you for the input.
