Trail Tech Magnetic bolt question.
#1
I will be installing my Trail Tech Setup on my Predator soon.
Can I just use a breaker bar to losen the brake rotor bolt with out heating it?
I still have to look at it to see if I have to remove the hub first. Hopefully I can just make the bolt reachable and leave everything else intact.
Thanks in advance.

Polaris uses threadlocking compound on the brake rotor bolts. It is possible to break them loose without heat, but heat helps tremendously. You don't have to get it real hot, just hot enough to steam a little to soften the threadlock.

That's a good reminder Modquad!
I see that I can get directly at the bolt without any hassle. Now I need to pick up some locktite so I can get it done. Hope I can find my propane torch.
What color Loctite was it I needed. I swear it's been 7 years since I sold the stuff.
