Today I off loaded the bike and was heading up the road on a spring bear hunt when the odometer went blank and the 4wd would not engage. This happened once before when I had some lights go out. This time everything works but the odometer. Anyone have any ideas what could of happened? I have about 1600 miles on it and it has been well maintained. Thanks in advance

 

Sounds like you have short somewhere and the circuit breaker(s) are tripping. Electrical problems can be a pain becuase you just have to hunt. I would start at the speedo, then the 4wd button, etc.

 

Dido on what NCScrambler said. Diagnosis is electrical somewhere. Probe and prod., it's just a miniturized version of your bear hunt, except now you are looking for electricity!!
