Default Elka shocks on the Predator

I was wondering if anyone else has tried the Elka shocks on their Predator. I love mine....well..... I will AGAIN when I get my bent one back. It really sucks that I only got to ride on them once. The ride was incredible!! Best $2300 that I ever spent.

I haven't, but I've ridden a cannondale equiped with them. What a plush ride, it's smooth! But I really can't see them as being a great MX shock. They seemed a little soft for that, but XC and trail riding is unreal. It almost feels wrong becuase you almost have 0 feedback from the terrain you are riding on unless it is a huge dip. I think they are worth the money, but I occasionally hear of stories dealing with reliability of Elka's shocks, such as leaky seals or fading out in a race.
