As far as the head gasket goes, the stock head gasket has an O-ring inside of the gasket. If you hung it out over into the combustion chamber, the O-ring would not seal the head gasket and you risk detonation problems and the possibility of the head gasket heating up and lowering into the cylinder. I don't know you want to use a stock head gasket in the first place.

The 592 kit will be late, late in the year before I would even start on it.

 

great, i spent the extra money to ship my motor overnight to FST ,eager to get it there, and i call today to see if it is there and they are out of the office today, doh, should of went 2nd day air and saved 30 bucks
