Default scrambler suspension

I am looking into upgrading my scrambler suspension. I was looking at the Fox or Works struts. I dont jump my quad or race it, I just trail ride. The Fox struts are $280 and the Works are $240. Which ones are better? Which ones last longer? Ive heard that the Fox units work best with the HPS springs, which is another $300. And the the Works units are designed to be used with the stock springs. Also, what should I do for the rear. I dont have an extra $600 for a Works rear shock. What is the PEP revalving that Ive heard about. Do they have a website? How much does the PEP revalving cost, and do it need a new spring with it? How much of a difference does it make? Thanks

I dont know how well the works suspension is but I love my fox struts They are a big improvement to stock. I wish i had the extra money to get the hot seat springs, but i havnt started my job yet

You can re-valve the Fox units to get them at about the same level as the Works units. Either way, yes, the HSP springs are the way to go.....just happen to have a set of freshened/revalved Fox struts, and I'll throw in the two larger HSP dual rate springs for $175 that's with me eating the shipping.

Thanks for the offer Modquad. Unfortunely, I dont think that my suspension upgrades will happen soon. I may just wait untill I blow out the stock units. I am just looking at my options at this time. I just picked up another Harley so money is a little tight right now. Do you know anything about the PEP valving on the rear shock? Where can that be done and how much does it cost?
