hey bassetboy...i got a 500 scrambler 2x4 with jet kit clutch kit white bros pipe....when i had just that on it and my bro had a 400 ex with a fmf pipe...i still pulled him off the line but once he hit 4th i was done.....then i put razr's on and it didnt happen i was still beaten in the end but by like a bike and a half is all so if spend some money on aftermarket stuff and dont race one that has as much spent on it youll do fine....the scrambler isnt a ***** to the wall drag racer...its just to heavy but in the trails which is what i do most of the time....it kicks all their butts cause there is that element of human error...well with the auto it doesnt happen always in the right gear and i have just as much low end as they do in those situations......

 

my buddy has a 2003 scrambler 500 4x4. raced a guy who has a kfx 400. same as a z-400 ..... they took off he had him for a little while. then the guy hit his final gear and went by him... i was impressed the 500 did so good ... they both are stock....
