Foam filter with K& N ?

Foam filter with K& N ?
Anyone using the stock foam filter with K&N drop in ? Or just the K&N alone. Anyone making an outerware filter for the K&N drop in ? Would like to get rid of foam but worried about dust getting into engine.

Toss the stock foam pre-filter, and just regularily maintain your K&N. I keep a 3.5 gallon partwasher just for air filters. Use Jungle Jake....same as Simple Green. Then be sure to use the K&N oil.

Just as modquad said, Keep you K&N Maintained.
If it runs Dry it CAN NOT filter. If they run dry small particles flow through and You will do damage.
It is very imprtant to keep them well oiled at all times
