Default engine ice

Been thinking about running engine ice in the Predator. I already have the radiator scoops which do help alot but summer is getting close and we do alot of slow woods riding. My question is does anyone know if you can run it in the winter time? It has anti--freeze capability up to -26 I believe but am worried about it making the motor run to cool in the winter. What are some others opinions.

I don't think it will be a problem,i've been running it for 2 years without any heat related problems.I also have a 2 stroke, but i don't think it makes any difference.Hope this helps.

i think you should drop some redline water wetter in that predator,at the right mix, this stuff worth the test,it doesn't cost much too...

I would run the ice or water wetter for the summer, but when fall comes around, switch it back cause Iowa can get pretty cold sometimes, and for the little effort it takes to change antifreeze, it's a lot cheaper than replacing a cracked block, head, or radiator....

nccracing,

Engine Ice replaces the antifreeze and is suppose to reduce the engine temp by 50 degrees. Pruple Ice and Water Wetter are products that you add to your coolant. Both are very good. I use Purple Ice and love it. Only requires about 2.5 onces for my radiator.

POO,
Engine Ice should be available at some ATV dealers as well as Rocky MT ATV. Water Wetter and Purple Ice are available at auto parts stores.

So which is better? Engine Ice says it reduces temps by 50 degrees...what about water wetter and the purple stuff?? I visited those links BigBad, and the water wetter had a bunch of techincal stuff that went over my head, and the purple didn't say what it's cooling properties were... Any other opinions or experience??
