Hey Howard,
I noticed that your tranny is from 02......maybe by 2005 Yamaha will have enough parts for you to build a bike that you can race on a track, instead of a straight line!!!!hahahahahaha

Wow that's impressive. I don't know whyyou wasted your time even bringing this up as a new topic. If a predator owner puts more money in his machine he will have a problem beating raptors then you put more money in yours and you are back to winning. Anybody can beat anybody if they keep spending more and more money. I think we should just judge atvs by their sticker price and reliability. Which means we should all go buy hondas and we might not win a lot of races but we'll be able to afford stuff other people can't because of always repairing our bikes. Guys,
Remember that when a Predator owner says "I beat a Raptor with pipe and jets, etc with my stock Predator" or when a Raptor owner says " I beat a piped Predator with my stock Raptor" that tuning plays a HUGE part!
A piped whatever could actually run much worse and slower than the stocker because of bad jetting etc. Make sure that you're tuned correctly, whether stock or modified, and you can get a lot more performance out of your quad regardless.
And, remember, its all in fun.
By the way I've got a modified Raptor so I guess that means I'm the enemy

LETS ALL NOT FORGET THE IMPORTANT PART.............. RIDER,RIDER ,RIDER SKILLS!!! YOU CAN DRAG RACE UNTIL YOUR BLUE IN THE FACE AND THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOUR QUADS IS FASTER..SURE, IVE BEAT ALL THE RAPPYS HERE SO FAR ANDA FEW MODDED SHEES, BUT THAT DONT MAKE OR BREAK YA..NOW.........IF YOU WANNA HIT THE TRAILS. I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE PREDATOR WILL SCHOOL ALL THE WAY,YOU POINT IT, AND IT TAKES YOU WHERE YOU WANNA GO......ON ALL FOURS! JUPMIN....SAME THING.....THE PREDATOR IS A TURE NATURAL FOR IT, ALMOST BOUGHT A RAPPY BUT ITS JUST TOO TALL AND TIPPY .. THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT.....
