Well, you need the proper size socket to remove the nut inside the hub casting (I forget what size). Then you have to take the bearings out and totally remove the whole hub assembly...all this after you took the wheel off of course. You will notice more bearings inside also. If you are not familiar with how it goes back together make sure you line the parts up on a paper towel. The seal is stuck into the black hub casting...you can't miss it. You will need a torch to heat it up and something to pry it for removal.
Also, take a look at the wear sleeve, that is, the part that the seal seats on. If there is a groove worn deep into it, you will need to replace that also, which I can't stress enough, because if you fail to replace a bad wear sleeve, you'll be doing this all over again in a few weeks. If you need to do the wear sleeve, you will need a gas/oil resistant sealant. If you have to replace the sleeve, let me know and I can help you a lot more.
I think I covered basically most of the stuff you need to know. If I said something wrong or forgot something, someone let me know. If you want me to scan the instructions from the repair manual, let me know. I will also have to check the torque on the axle nut, I am not sure of how many rolling inch pounds.
