does anybody know what the clutching is on the 6 and 7? Primarys spring rate, weights, secondary spring rate and helix angle?

 

I get about 40 miles on a tank and then its to reserve. Then again I have done alot to "mod" it with bolt on stuff. Air filter, bigger carb, pipe ect. Just waiting for a header to *** out.

 

My 700 seems to be a real gas hog so far also. I have only put around 60 miles or so on it and I have already went through 2 tanks of gas. Thats just riding around in the yard though. I have used high and low about the same amount. Just trying to get the break in period done and over with. I hope the gas mileage improves a little as it gets broke in.

I got 67 MILES on my first tank of gas, before hitting reserve, on my 04 sp700.

i find that i'm geetting around the same as my 2002ho, and 2003ho

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]Getting a pretty consistant 45 - 49 miles per tank before swithching to reserve.. Not the greatest mileage for sure.
I hope it gets better with the more miles. So far have about 250 miles on it.. Did the headlight mod and that is an improvement.
Man what was polaris thinkingwhen the designed those lights. Put a load on the front rack and have to use high beam and your hooped. Now we can see like a Honda again. Those bloddy mosquitos are out in full force now up here so have to tie the quad up to a tree at night so they don't haul it away when spending a night on the trail.

2 tanks for 60 miles is pretty bad, I've consistently heard around 60-70 a tank on the forums, for the 700.
