Predator Tire Upgrades
#1
I was curious of the experiences Predator owners have had with tire replacements. I like the Razrs for hard-packed terrain, but was looking for a more aggressive tread pattern for loose dirt, some minor sand, and better all around traction. On my 'Shee I used to have Blackwaters, and loved them, and was thinking about putting them on the Pred. I'd probaby go with the 20x12x10, figuring they'd mount fairly easy on the stock rims. I'd like to know other Pred owner experiences with tires. I'm not looking for paddles right now, but I'd like to know some pros and cons to the different, more aggressive tires, sizes etc. I have the W/B slip on, K&N, and I'm running stock gearing, but will probably move to a 38 or 39 tooth rear.
Let me know your thoughts about your tire mods, and what size tires and rims your using. Thanks.

I replied to you in another post. I really like the Blackwaters. I'd highly recommend them for the mud, or if you just need the extra traction. I also found, that for trail riding that 13/39 was the best combo. It makes 2nd and 3rd gears so much more usable. I used to have to shift alot between gears, the new ratio seemed to do the trick.
