Jeff, I posted a while back about the "working on the Predator thumb throttle". The current billet unit that they offer works, the one cable end just needs to be changed. As for rude lady at HPD, unless you were rude first, Sue, Mrs. HPD is one of the sweetest and most helpful people I know. Don't get me wrong, if you throw something at her, I'm sure she'd throw it right back. The company, like many others presently has many products (over 20) in the final stages of development. Darrell has a great reputation for testing equipment fully to make sure it's ready to put his name on it. Be patient, the wait will be worth it. I've let information out early before, but if people can't be patient, the info source will stop.

Very busy and flustered, maybe.

Very rude, definitley not.

Also, at least they didn't try to leave you hanging on a promise.....

Sorry folks but when I ask a question and get a rude responce and then get hung up on - that is rude in my book. I simply asked if HPD had any other aftermarket parts for the predator and I was told to check the websight and then was hung up on. So, I as a consumer have decided to do business elsewhere. Now for anyone who knows where I can get a billet thumb throtle assembly, I would appreciate any advice. I will check with Gary at superbikeshop because they treat customers in the same manner I treat my customers in my business - with friendlyness and respect.

Well, I have one in the shop. Once the burps are worked out of the cable, I'm sure it'll work as smooth as my 2 year old unit on the race-mod. Happy Trails.

There's a lot of HPD history in this forum. Questions, answers, and people trying to help each other. There has never been much complaining, especially about customer service.

You mentioned her being rude, and I pointed out that she was probably busy and flustered. Then you conveniently added that she hung up on you. There's no way that is true. No way........

I didnt get into details on my first post. As I said, I as a consumer have a choice when I do business. I happen to work in customer service and have a good idea on what is good and bad. Hanging up on me was part of the rude service I recieved as indicated in my first post. I know I was hung up on - I was there on the phone - you were not - so seems to me it is obvios who is "full of it" here...

If you are not comfortable dealing with people in person, try HPD-inc.com. You can do everything in an automated fashion there. There are a few parts listed there which are currently available for the Predator. Otherwise, not to be rude, you're gonna have to wait. And now like everyone on this and other forums, that's gonna be the source of information from HPD.
