Hi I want to do an oil change and grease job on the wifes Sportsman 500 I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many grease fittings it has and were their are at?? Also how hard are they to get to Thanks Chuck (Cottonwood,AZ.)

 

3 that I have found bottom of the front struts and the slip joint on the front driveshaft.

You didn't mention what year it is, the new one's have a lot less grease fittings than the old one's.

Check to see if there is a zerk under the headlight pod on the stearing post.

 

did you read the thread about oil & filter? if not, you can use mobile 1 super synthetic. fram & wix have filters availible also. chances are this info will save you some money & provide as good or better protection for your engine.
