For a utility ATV, Polaris, no question about it. I don't ride sport ATVs and don't know which I would like best.

Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha........... They just seem to make the machines that are the most fun to ride for me......

But I do lean towards Suzuki as my first choice...... I think it is that whole "First on 4 wheels" thing...... I was just an impressionable young kid the day the "quad" showed up on all the covers of the "3-wheeler" magazines and changed everything..... from that moment on anything that said "Suzuki" on it was suddenly something I needed to own....

Still I have had good luck with Honda and Yamaha too, so I would never hesitate to buy either one...... but if you gave me the keys to a 450R, YFZ450, and an LT-R450 and said pick one...... my leg would be over the Quad Racer faster than you could say "Suzuki" .......

Even Utility quads I'd probably pick the King Quad but it would be a much tougher choice over a Rancher..........my Rancher has been a beast.....

From what I've seen and read, if you ride them sensibly (hard but sensibly), and give them the proper maintenance, they are all good machines. I got to ride all the ones you mentioned (except a Honda) before I purchased mine. I picked the Sportsman because of it's ride quality, the excellent plow system, and I liked the looks (now I like the XP even better ).

Anyhow, test ride them all if you can, and pick the one that has the features you like, and performs to your needs.

For me the Polaris Sporstman. Second would probably be the Yamaha Grizzly. Polaris RZR would be a consideration also.

I have only and will only own HONDA atv's. I have rode a lot of different types and none can take a beating and keep right on going like Honda can. I love the Ranchers. I am on my second one and have had no problems with either. They are light, but powerful. I can go just as far if not farther than the big bore atv's can. they are way to heavy and wide to really move through the woods. My .02
In the end you have to buy the make you want, enjoy and trust.

+2 on the the one that fits your needs most! But I will say my Raptor has by far been the best quad I have ever owned!
